These beautifully unusual gloves are hugely popular at every event I go to and I have been really keen to get them online – and now they finally are!
Hand made from high quality yarn, every single pair is completely unique due to the colours of the yarn used. This also means that no pair is ever a complete match and therefore, I felt it was important that you are able to pick the exact pair you want rather than choosing a colour of yarn.
The colour options listed are numbered where there are multiple pairs of the same yarn. When you click on a colour, you will see the exact pair you will receive.
Gloves are one size, although some pairs are longer, they will all be continuing at the slightly shorter length moving forwards. Should you be specifically concerned about the length please do contact me and I can advise on the length of your chosen colour.
The thumb hole can be found on the fourth row of “scales” and after they have been worn for a short period the thumb hole will become more obvious.
The yarn mix varies from yarn to yarn and the mix is on a label on the rear of the packaging. The majority of the yarns are either 98% acrylic and 2% polyester or 100% acrylic. There are a few pairs that contain wool and these currently include:
- Woodland (51% Wool 49% Acrylic)
- Woodland Flower (51% Wool 49% Acrylic)
- Woodland Green (70% Acrylic 30% Wool)
- Purple Grey (80% Acrylic 20% Wool)
- Sunset Wave (70% Acrylic 30% Wool)
- Spring Garden (70% Acrylic 30% Wool)
- Cappuccino (80% Acrylic 20% Wool)
All of the gloves with a sparkly thread are 98% acrylic and 2% polyester.
IMPORTANT – STOCK WHEN ATTENDING EVENTS
For the remainder of 2021, I will be attending the Canterbury Christmas Market (for a total of 43 days as part of the shared space in the old Monsoon store). None of these gloves currently online here will be at the Canterbury event. I have kept separate stock that will not go online as I cannot manage its availability and update online regularly enough.
I will also be attending the Wealden Times Mid-Winter Fair from 18th – 20th November and this will include the stock here online. I will not be able to update website stock until 21st November after the event so if you are purchasing during this time, please be aware that I may have to contact you and offer either an alternative pair or make you a pair in the same yarn (this will take 3-5 days to do so, depending on the stock availability of the specific yarn requested). If you want to check the availability of the stock at the time of purchase, please email me and I can confirm during this period whether a particular pair is still available. I really appreciate your patience during this time.
